Things You Need from Amazon

Remember when I used to do Amazon hauls on a monthly/bimonthly basis? I’ve taken a long hiatus but I’m back! Today I’m back with my favorite addiction and sharing some things I don’t regret buying from Amazon the past few months. Can’t get enough of that dopamine rush that comes with “Your package has been delivered!” Anyway, let’s get into my list of things you didn’t know you needed from Amazon!

BOOK “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins: If you’re lacking inspiration, motivation, drive, whatever, this book will surely fire you up. My trainer introduced me to it and I loved it. I think everyone needs to read it.

SILK PILLOWCASE: This is luxury but on a budget. It’s a fraction of the cost of the super popular Slip brand ones. But just as luxurious + lovely. They say sleeping on silk helps with more graceful aging, less/delayed wrinkles, and less hair breakage. I don’t know how true all of that is (only time will tell), but even if it’s not, I love how rich it makes me feel knowing I’m sleeping on silk pillowcases. Plus I’ve been using the silk scrunchie it comes with for months + loving it.

COCKTAIL STRAWS: I’m all for reusable straws, have them, love them. But I haven’t found a good reusable cocktail straw yet. And I hate a drink without a straw. A skinny little cocktail straw just elevates the experience! These single use ones are wonderful. Skinny, biodegradable and compostable.

MAGNETIC CHARGING CABLES: Gamechanger for keeping the iPhone charger cords tidy! I am someone who always rolls up my charging cables when I’m not using them, but it can be a time-consuming task when you’re doing it several times a day/week. But the magnetic feature on these make it so easy to roll up the cord. Plus, you know how typically the ends of the cords start to rip + whatnot? These feel so sturdy! I have these in different rooms of my home for whenever I need a charger. So easy.

ELECTRIC CANDLE LIGHTER: I can confirm, TikTok is right, this is worth the hype! You basically charge it once and it lasts foreverrrr. With the flame ones, I used to always think “I hope there’s still fuel in it” before lighting a candle. But with the electric ones that thought never crosses my mind.

DERMAPLANING RAZOR: Girl, if you’re not shaving your face, what are you doing?!?! These razors are the best I’ve ever used, but be careful because they are SO sharp + you can end up looking like a teenage boy who just learned to shave LOL Shaving your face is great as another method for exfoliating your face. Plus getting rid of the peach fuzz helps with smoother makeup application. Don’t be afraid to do so if you aren’t already. And no, your peach fuzz won’t grow back darker + thicker.

GLASS WATER BOTTLES: These are so nice to have. Whether you’re a smoothie gal, make your own juices, water only drinker, etc, these are a staple in your kitchen, in my opinion. I personally am a water-only kind of gal, and love these for my chlorophyll water (plastic bottles tend to stain green from chlorophyll drops). Recently I accidentally slurped a creepy-crawler out of my opaque water tumblr with opaque black straw (this is why glass straws are LIFE) *pause while I gag again while reliving this story* so a see-through glass water bottle/tumblr is all I will be using moving forward.

GLASS FOOD STORAGE CONTAINERS: I love glass containers. So chic, so nice. Plastic ones just get stained after a while and start looking gross. After having my plastic containers for 4-ish years now, I decided to upgrade to these glass ones. I just wish there were ones with glass spill-proof lids too, but haven’t found those yet. I know glass containers tend to be heavier, which is definitely inconvenient, but I’m ok with that.

SCRAPER TOOL: Stop messing up your nails trying to get those stickers off your HomeGoods items! Use this tool instead! Life is much easier this way. Plus you’ll have less of that sticky residue leftover on the item from the stickers.

EGG TIMER: I hate a hard, fully cooked egg yolk. But getting the perfect soft, runny yolk is tough! This tool takes the guesswork out of the process!

BLINDS DUSTER BRUSH: Cleaning my bedroom blinds is one of the chores at the top of my “Chores I Hate” list. If you came over and inspected my blinds, there used to be some dust build-up there because I would just avoid the task of cleaning them. But this brush cuts the cleaning time significantly!
