Room Reveal: Our Bathroom

In December, I revealed our guest bedroom. Today, I am back with another room reveal: our bathroom.

I love our bathroom so much. We renovated it completely when we bought our home back in 2018 (see before + afters in this post). I wanted it white, bright, and marble. One of my most important asks was that the lighting be perfect here and my husband certainly delivered!

I love that our vanity has drawers instead of doors. I think that a vanity with drawers is so much easier to organize compared to a vanity with doors.

Across the vanity is a closet with mirrored folding doors and our shower. When my husband was remodeling the shower, I requested that he install three little cubbies in the wall so that we can easily hide all the different bottles of shampoo, body wash, and everything else we store in our shower. When they are hidden a bit, the shower looks a lot neater and less cluttered.

The bathroom itself is relatively small so I wanted the closet doors in this bathroom to be mirrored in order to create the illusion that the room is actually a bit bigger than it actually is.

In this closet, I store my towels, hair items, makeup, bath bombs, additional skincare items, and a laundry bin stands at the very bottom.

We also opted for a floating vanity in this bathroom to add to the illusion that the room is slightly larger than it actually is. With a floating vanity, it appears there is actually more floor space in our bathroom.
