Highlight of my Morning

Who doesn’t love a pick-me-up at the start of their day? Especially in the mornings!

Some like coffee, some life to work out, some like whatever else it may be that brightens their mornings (sorry, ran out of ideas).

I have grown to absolutely adore a little bit of highlighter in my morning routine!

(With a cup of coffee, of course!)

The one that I use is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette.

I have heard so many wonderful things about it from various YouTubers, along with many other different highlighters. However, I found this one so beautiful when I went into my local Sephora.

How beautiful do the shades look in the sun?!

They sell the shades individually, but I decided to purchase the palette. I thought that I could use the darker shades in the summer as my skin gets slightly tanner so that I can add a “golden glow” and use the lighter shade in the winter.

Currently, I use the shade in the middle with the Pro Fan brush offered by Sephora on the tops of my cheeks. Then, I add a little to the brow bone to lift the brow a bit.

I have never used highlighter on my cheeks before for fear of looking oily, but this product has left my skin looking less dull and more glowy! I’ve been into the no-makeup makeup look lately, so this step adds a little oomph to my face.
